Well, I don't exactly hate it but I think there are better tracks to choose from. If it happens to be true, then I guess it'll be ok.

because if Rosalina's Ice World gets in the Yoshi Egg Cup the only other place for a 3DS track would be the Bell Cup

And I don't even know if they'll use more than 1 3DS track

Other 3DS tracks that would work in the Wii U version are Wario Shipyard, Neo Bowser City and Daisy Hills.

Maybe at least 4 tracks from each instalment. Potential DLC retro tracks are in bold.
SNES- Donut Plains 3, Mario Circuit 4, Bowser's Castle ?, Vanilla Lake ?
N64- already had 4 retro N64 tracks
GBA- Mario Circuit, Ribbon Road, Cheese Land, Sunset Wilds
GCN- Dry Dry Desert, Sherbet Land, Wario Colosseum , Mushroom City
DS- Cheep Cheep Beach, Wario Stadium, Tick-Tock Clock, Figure-8 Circuit
Wii- Moo Moo Meadows, Grumble Volcano, Wario's Gold Mine, ???
7- Music Motorway, Piranha Plant Pipeway, DK Jungle, ???

There isn't a rule where once a track is reused, it can never be reused again.

At least Wario's Gold Mine is tolerable to look at instead of that ugly cage thing.

Aside from 5 bowser castle tracks.

admittedly I'd rather have coliseum over gold mine but I mean really let's save the last of the great N64 legacy
let's not spend them all in one last go

Holy shit! They ARE using previously retroed tracks! That looks awesome! It doesn't look like they added any gliding/anitgrav though...

Oh yeah, and looks like a new Tanooki Jeep vehicle. That's all the karts then, now we just need the rest of the courses revealed.

Yoshi Circuit is one of my favorite GCN tracks!

This also means they might remake awesome tracks like Koopa Cape or DK Mountain or Waluigi Pinball or...
