Why I don't care for Super Paper Mario

Ganondorf single highhandedly murdered all of his followers once he arrived at the Temple of the Triforce so no one else could compete with him for it. He's also willing to cheat, manipulate, and lie to get what he wants while Bowser just hits things.

Bowser's just too goofy for me to take him anywhere near as seriously as Ganondorf
Exactly. Dark, shadowy warlock spells evil much more than bright yellow and green turtle.

Need I remind you the list of villains Bowser has helped kill so he could get what he wanted?
He's lied to his own son, manipulated Antasma, destroyed toad town, left Rosalina and the Lumas to die in space with no power, almost wiped out the yoshis on yoshi's island for fun when he was a kid. Beat Mario senseless and nearly killed him and thats not even the entire list of bad things he's done.

Also judging him by his appearance is stupid, need I remind you Nintendo's most evil villain looks like a fat pig nosed kid wearing overalls.

he also is a liar by saying he is building his space empire in the center of the universe

everyone knows that such place doesn't even exist

In the end, it's a cartoon we're talking about here. And from the way you worded it, I'd say it's exaggerated.

Wario is the true evil in the Mario series.

Not really, that is literally a list of things he's done throughout the series. Hell at the end of the original PM just before the final chapter he threatens he will have his guards decapitated if Peach were to escape from her room again, and its not played for humour.

Oops is the pig in overalls someone else?

Porky Minch from Mother/Earthbound

I am not a expert of this but giygas is creepy, it looks like a red ghost getting flushed down in a toilet. The characters look cartoonish but that thing looks like it came from some different universe.

everything in Mario is potrayed relatively light heartedly so that still I can't take Bowser or anyone/anything else for that matter seriously in comparison with The Legend of Zelda.

it's like comparing My Little Pony to Sherlock or something

I wasn't asking you to take it seriously, I'm just pointing out that when it comes to being evil Bowser and Ganondorf are about even.

I know what you were pointing out, I was just throwing that out there

But Bowser still ends up racing karts and playing golf with Mario. I'd say that evens out all the bad things he's done.

Its very easy to write those off as non canon. The sports games and Mario party all live in their own weird world.

And even if they were, all that shows is that he hates Mario so much he wants to beat him at EVERYTHING.

Except for the times they're on the same team. Double Dash, double tennis matches, being on the same baseball team, rare occasions of giving Mario coins...

It's also very easy to write the RPG games off as non-canon, making your list of Bowser's actions invalid.

But we don't know if they ever were on the same team. In all promotional art work, trailers, in game cutscenes and everything show them competing.

Same goes for the coins, not to mention that Bowser is just a big huge troll in Mario party and no matter who wins he leaves with plenty of coins in his pocket.

I can say that the platformers is just an act and the karting and partying is the real Bowser personality.

You'd really have to convince me that the above things I mentioned was just an act.

Well, they're not mainstream, but the Mario Party 2 credits reveal the whole thing was a play, not to mention the Mario Power Tennis bloopers.

All the more reason for me to think they exist in their own weird world.

It's all CGI effects.
