Why I don't care for Super Paper Mario

It was a different world.

Already explained earlier why thats not an excuse.

And there is such a thing as being too different.

Yeah, when I see a FPS Mario game with gritty, dark graphics, blood and cussing, then maybe I'll believe it's "too different"

But as long as they keep with the colorful, creative world designs and keep it E-rated material, it's not too different because those are basically Mario's standards anyway.

One of these things is not like the others, one of these things doesn't belong.

Its pretty much the poster child for the game's bad character designs.

I prefer the old Paper Mario designs for Hammer Bro and Buzzy Beetle.
Otherwise, Sticker Star had better designs.

I prefer probably only the Buzzy Beetles. Even then, the New Super Mario Bros. can stick with this kind of design.

It fit with the established art style of the game, I don't see what is wrong with them. That thing only appeared in ONE level though, you seriously can't find a more common example? Such as the Squig family or Skellobits, both of which look cool?

The problem is that the established art style looks nothing like Mario.

There was no "fact" to begin with, it's all a matter of personal preference.

To be honest I do think most of the Cragnons are kinda ugly looking, but they're not important characters either. The important Cragnons are Flint Cragley and his crew, and they look absolutely great compared to the other ones.

So the graphics are bizarre, and the new characters are fitting, not at all strange and outcast from the Mario style.

Doesn't that kinda contradict?
